DAC announces auditions for Broadway Family Favorites

UPDATE ***Saturday's auditions will be held in the Elementary school on the Juan Diego campus, northeast of the high school building. Also please be aware that cast members will pay a $15 cast fee.***

The Draper Arts Council will be holding auditions for its annual Broadway Family Favorites musical revue. This year's show will be presented at Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, and will include numbers from West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Newsies and many more!

Tricia Swanson will provide music direction for the show, and choreography will be by Gina Troop.

Auditions will be at Juan Diego, 300 E. 11800S, Draper. Audition dates are Wednesday, January 4, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, January 7, 9 a.m.-noon. Callbacks will be Monday, January 9, 6:30 p.m. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 32 bars from a Broadway show and to learn a short dance routine. An accompanist will be provided (no minus tracks please!).

Rehearsals begin Saturday, January 14 at 9 a.m. and the performances will be March 15 - 19.
