Wilam Handy

BIO

Wilam Handy has most recently been cast as “Lord Kai” in the Matthews Playhouse (North Carolina) musical production of The Snow Queen. Other recent acting roles include performances as “Fenris Ulf” in the Lancaster (South Carolina) Community Playhouse production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and as “Larry Johnson” in the Fort Mill (South Carolina) Community Playhouse production of Welcome to Mitford.
Wilam’s past credits include being cast as “Banjo” in The Man Who Came to Dinner and as “Jasper Sneed” in Night at the Wax Museum. He has taken formal theatre courses at University of North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC) and has provided technical support in theatre production for plays at UNCC’s black box theatre. He has also recently worked with the Storefront Theatre of Waxhaw (North Carolina) as a stagehand during the set-up and presentation of Shotgun. Wilam currently takes an active interest in physical fitness, outdoor sports, and writing short stories, while attending the University of Utah and majoring in theatre.
