Into the Woods Jr. (2022-07)

WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

RILEY THOMPSON (Baker) is excited to appear in his second production with Draper Arts Council. He is 14 years old and will be in the 10th grade this coming fall. He has performed in many productions including “The Addams Family” and “Holiday Inn”. He was most recently seen in “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian“ at Hillcrest High School. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support.

TAYLOR FAIRBOURN (Baker) is very excited to perform his dream role, the Baker. Some of his favorite roles include Timon- "The Lion King Jr.", Tommy Boy- "Newsies", and more. He is looking forward to playing the same role that his brother played a year ago at Jordan High school.

ABIGAIL BAUGH (Baker’s Wife) has been in a number of shows here at Draper, but this particular musical is her favorite. She is thrilled to bring this fairytale story to life. She has acted in DAC’s "Dear Edwina" (Katie Spoonapple, 2104), "Alice in Wonderland Jr." (Tweedle Dum, 2015), "Suessical" (Jojo, 2016), and "Aladdin Jr." (Kassim, 2021). Abby is a trained ballerina and was a member of Murray High’s Dance Company this school year.

ELIZA WILLIAMS (Baker’s Wife) is thrilled to be playing the Baker’s Wife. She has loved "Into the Woods" since she was a kid and is excited to be a part of this show! Past favorite roles include Reepicheep the mouse in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and Cinderella in "Into the Woods Jr.".

EMRI LANG (Cinderella) is very excited to be a part of the cast of "Into the Woods Jr.". Her first role was Cinderella at Olympus Jr. High, and has since done many shows at Olympus High School. She would like to thank all of her performing arts teachers, especially Sarah Watts, for always supporting her and pushing her outside of her comfort zone!

MAGGIE MCDOWELL (Cinderella) is thrilled to be portraying her second princess in a Draper Arts Council production. She had the honor of playing Jasmine last year in their production of "Aladdin". Other notable roles include Catherine in "Pippin" at Corner Canyon High School. Maggie would like to thank all those who support her whether it be through teaching/coaching her in her craft, helping with hair and make up, preparing her for auditions, driving long hours to see each performance, or cheering from the audience. Her team of support has helped to make her theatrical endeavors the most rewarding experiences of her life.

SADIE JONES (Cinderella’s Mother/Granny) is excited to be doing her first show with the Draper Arts Council. She has always loved theater and recently discovered her love of performing while portraying the role of Isir in "Aladdin Jr.". She has loved to sing since she was little and enjoys singing in her school’s choir!

LEAH MEMMOTT (Cinderella’s Mother/Granny) is a proud nerd in many arenas. She enjoys reading, creating art, playing lacrosse, and hanging out with friends. Leah loves all things music including musical theater and song writing. She is very excited to be a part of this show!

MIRANDA STOKES (Cinderella’s Stepmother) loves to sing and be the life of the party. She strives for her 4.0 GPA and works hard in the classroom. She has done 9 shows with the DAC, and loves being on stage. When not singing, dancing or acting, you can find her goofing around with her sister Charlotte, being a social butterfly, or singing on her karaoke machine. She wants to thank her friends and family for always believing in her, and making her the person she is!

ASHLYN PRICE Cinderella's Stepmother) has been involved with theater, music and performing most of her life. This is Ashlyn's 12th DAC production. She is a Senior at CCHS and part of their Productions Company. Some of her favorite roles include Linda from "Hard Candy" and Mrs. Macafee from "Bye Bye Birdie". Ashlyn is also an accomplished violist and is part of the Chamber Orchestra, and she sings in the Chamber and Concert Choirs at CCHS. She also plays the guitar, ukulele, piano, and any other instrument that she can get her hands on. She is thrilled to be a part of this amazing show!

MAX SCHULTZ (Cinderella's Father/Steward) is very excited to be a part of DAC's "Into the Woods Jr". He is 14 years old and will be going into the 9th grade this coming school year. A past show that he participated in include DAC's production of "Aladdin Jr".

FINN MCDOWELL (Cinderella's Father/Steward) is excited to be joining Draper Arts Council in his second production. He joined the cast of "Aladdin" with four of his siblings last summer. Other roles of note include Troy Bolton in "High School Musical" and The Cat in "Seussical the Musical" at Draper Park Middle School. Finn is grateful to his friends and family for their love and support. He is thrilled to be spending another summer on the stage with his sister and brother.

AUDREY SELF (Florinda) is thrilled to be a part of this show! Audrey loves art of all different kinds, and enjoys acting in her free time! She was recently seen as Featured Dancer in "Descendants the Musical", Wickersham Brother in "Suessical Jr.", Narce in "Dracula Vs Henry Botter", and much more.

LILY WILLIAMS (Florinda) is very excited to be back on the Draper Amphitheater stage in this production of “Into the Woods Jr”! Past shows include “Matilda”, “The Little Mermaid”, and “Aladdin Jr”. She loves to dance: (ballroom, lyrical and jazz), sing, and play the piano.

CHELSEA HANSEN (Lucinda) is 15 years old and attends Bingham High school. She loves to perform and try new things through theater. She has enjoyed playing the roles of Manal in Draper Arts Council’s production of "Aladdin Jr.", and Cindy in Bingham High School's "Catch Me if You Can".

ELLIE LOWRY (Lucinda) is very excited to be a part of "Into the Woods Jr."! Some of Ellie’s favorite past roles have been Young Fiona in "Shrek", Tweedle Dee in "Alice in Wonderland", Narrator in "Once On This Island", and the Magic Carpet in "Aladdin". Ellie would like to thank her family for their love and support, her Golden Girls for their friendship, and Lisa Noyes for helping her find her “spark” once again!

AIDEN HUGHES (Cinderella/Rapunzel’s Prince) is excited to be working with Draper Arts Council. Recent roles include Charles ("Pippin"), Romeo ("Newsies"), and Tommy ("Matilda") at CCHS. He received superior ratings at the State Drama Competition in the Classical Scenes category. He would like to thank his coach Tamari Dunbar, and his parents for their love and support.

ROBERT SWINTON (Cinderella's Prince) is excited to appear in his second production with Draper Arts Council. He is 14 years old and will be in the 10th grade this coming fall. He has performed in many productions including “The Addams Family” and “Holiday Inn”. He was most recently seen in “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian“ at Hillcrest High School. JAMES CUELLAR (Jack) has been in a couple of plays such as “The Scarlet Pimpernel '' as Coupou, “Spongebob” being in the orange ensemble, and many more! Although James has not been in many plays, he is gradually building up his experience level.

BARON DAVIS (Jack) has been on stage since he was 3 years old debuting as the youngest aerialist in a production in downtown Houston. He appeared as the Fire Spirit in One Voice Children's choir "Show Yourself" music video. He has performed in over 10 productions for Aeris Aerial Arts including performances at Traverse Mountain Outlets, Rose Wagner Theater, and Capitol Theater. He was a featured aerialist in Odyssey Dance Theater’s production of "Thriller" at Kingsbury Hall as well as Tuacahn. Although his love of the arts started with Aerial Arts, he has developed into an actor and singer, and this year took on the role of JoJo in Draper Park Middle School’s production of "Seussical".

LAUREL CUELLAR (Jack’s Mother) has been acting since she was young. She has had the privilege to play the role of Stepmother, Gerty Fail in "Failure: A Love Story", and the Mayor in "SpongeBob". She is happy to be here while earning a large scholarship to SUU.

LEAH RAVELLA (Jack’s Mother) has been doing musical theatre for 10 years now and has spent five of those years training at Utah Copa. She was last seen in "Newsies" at Corner Canyon High School. She has loved performing since the age of five and is excited to continue.

LYDIA SWINTON (Milky White) is a theater fanatic and was last seen in Cottonwood Heights Arts Council’s "Matilda". She especially enjoyed the role of Paulina in Waterford School’s "Winter’s Tale". She has previously been in two other Draper Arts Council productions: "Music Man" and "Brigadoon".

ELSIE OSBORNE (Milky-White) is a 7th grader who loves the beach, friends, and musical theater. She accidentally specializes in animal acting: in her last production she played a bully monkey and is thrilled to now play a dying cow. Elsie is also a musician; she plays piano and the harp.

CASH NOYES (Narrator 1) is an almost 8th grader who has been “on stage” his whole life. He has been working on his stand up routine for several years and will never pass up the opportunity to perform. Cash is very excited to be back on the Draper Amphitheater stage. He has been seen in several shows including Genie and Aladdin in "Aladdin", Cousin It in "The Addams Family", and Vlad Vladikoff in "Seussical".

AVERIE FORCHUK (Narrator 1) has been performing in musicals since the 4th grade when she was Cinderella. "Into The Woods" will be her 10th show in her 18 years. She is attending UVU, enjoys writing music and is excited to get back on the stage. She is very excited to finally get to do a show with her little sister, Brynlea.

OLIVER HUDSON (Narrator 2) has been looking forward to doing this show with Lisa Noyes since it was a "magic bean" of an idea last summer. He loves performing and has been on stage his whole life. He is a junior at Skyridge High School where he is involved in drama and choir.

BRYNLEA FORCHUK (Narrator 2) was born to dance and sing. As soon as she got to middle school, she did as many shows as she could, including DAC's "Aladdin", and Gertrude in DPMS' "Seussical". She received the 2022 Viking Scholar Award for Vocal Performance. She is very excited to be a Narrator in "Into The Woods"! After watching her in shows for many years, this is her first chance to perform in a show with her big sister, Averie.

OLIVIA SHELTON (Witch) is so excited for you to see this amazing story. This is her first show with Draper Arts Council and she could not be more excited! Recently, she has played Ophelia in "Hamlet" at Murray High, and Beth in "Little Women" with Fields Co. Productions. She hopes you enjoy the show, and remember, don’t ever mess around with her greens... especially the beans.

SHELBY BETENSON (Little Red) is thrilled to be in this production of “Into the Woods Jr.” and to be back with DAC. Some of her favorite past productions are “Frozen Jr.”, “Aladdin Jr.”, and “Alice in Wonderland Jr.”. She enjoys making music, aerial silks, and cheesy Hallmark movies.

KIANA LEE (Little Red) is 14 years old and has performed as Molly in Lehi Jr’s "Annie". In her free time she loves to cuddle with her Chameleon, and play Lacrosse. She is very grateful for her family and friends for all the encouragement they give her.

MAXWELL BAUGH (Mysterious Man) found his love for theater this year after being cast as Iago in his school’s production of "Aladdin Jr.". He performed in Draper’s "Seussical" as a Wickersham Brother (2016), and Horizon Elementary’s "Annie Jr." as the Bodyguard (2017). Max loves playing characters that are silly and sarcastic, so he is thrilled to be playing the Mysterious Man in this production. Max is also skilled at playing the French Horn.

IZIC COPIER (Mysterious Man) has done two other plays in his life: "Annie Jr." and "Aladdin Jr." In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and watching his favorite movie, "Fight Club".

BRIELLE PROWS (Rapunzel) is excited to be doing her second Draper Arts Council show! Some of her favorite shows that she has been in include "Wind in the Willows", "Seussical", and "Oliver". Brielle's favorite role to play has been Cinderella in "Cinderella's Glass Slipper". She is thrilled to be back on stage with her Draper family and has loved every second of this production process. She is very excited for you to see this show and all the amazing work that has been put into it.

ANNABELLE TAYLOR (Rapunzel) has always loved theater. She was last seen as Pepper in a production "Annie". She loves being with her friends and family. She is always singing her heart out. This is her first show with the Draper Arts Council and she is hopeful for many more to come.

PARKER LEWIS (Rapunzel’s Prince) has been performing since he was in elementary school. Some of his past favorite roles include Curly in "Oklahoma", John Brooks in "Little Women", and Flounder in "The Little Mermaid". He is thrilled to be working with Draper Arts Council and has worked with many wonderful people throughout this production process.

CHARLIE HUDSON (Wolf) first performed on the Draper Amphitheater stage when he was six-years-old. Being on this stage again feels like coming home for him. He has been in countless productions and has worked with several directors throughout his life; Lisa Noyes being one of his favorites. He is a senior at Skyridge High School.

NATE COLEMAN (Wolf) is a theater lover through and through. From playing Captain Hook in "Peter Pan", Freddy in "Murder Mystery", to Peachy Weil in "The Last Night of Ballyhoo". Nate has enjoyed playing the Wolf very much. Nate gives a special thanks to his Parents and Friends who continue to support him.
