Brianna East

Brianna needs no introduction, but as long as you are here, we’ll give you one anyway: playing the role of a dancer, Brianna brings a unique voice to this production—without having a single line of spoken dialogue. For rug-cutting thespians like Brianna, words are redundant. She does all her talking with her body which is why a local publication (hint: it’s the one you are reading right now) refers to her as "Ginger Rogers for the 21st Century."

As a child (ok, ok, and as an adult), she studied classic Disney films over and over and over and over. It was clear to her parents she was born to be an actress. In regards to this production, she has been preparing for it her whole life. Once, she even danced LIVE to Kenny Loggin’s Footloose (this is a true story—July 4, 2000 at the U of U).

Brianna would like to credit her daughter, Addison, for being the greatest inspiration and biggest supporter in her life.
