Jill Mueller

Jill Mueller is a graduate of Linda Fenton Dance Studio and trained in New York at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and American Ballet Theatre. She danced at the University of Utah as she pursued a degree in Art History. She performed solo and principal roles with Utah Junior Ballet, including Swanhilda in Coppelia, Princess January and the Fairy Harmony in Twelve Dancing Princesses, and Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty. She also performed in Oklahoma! and Peter Pan. She was a founding member of DanceAdemics, a touring program for elementary schools relating dance to math and literature. Jill has taught ballet, tap, and jazz for two decades and finds enjoyment interacting with students and performers of all ages and stages. Her choreography credits include Cinderella, Coppelia, and The Sleeping Beauty with Utah Junior Ballet, The Music Man and Fiddler on the Roof. She is proud to be a member of the Broadway Kidz production team, producing and choreographing since 2007, and looks forward to the music and mayhem every year. Jill has been with Mountain West Ballet since 2008, choreographing for The Nutcracker, Twelve Dancing Princesses, and Cinderella and serving as Artistic Director for the 2011 season including The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. Jill has been a member of the Board of Directors of both Draper Historic Theatre and Mountain West Ballet and served as a volunteer during the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Games in several capacities, including backstage and on stage for the Opening Ceremonies. Jill thanks Nathan, Alex, Lauren, and Mitchell for the music and laughter in her life.
